Project Nevaeh is a year old not-for-profit organization
dedicated to the prevention of child abuse. Project Nevaeh is located in and serves Orange County, NY.

Project Nevaeh’s first goal was Parenting
Education. We offer an in-depth parenting class unavailable until now in this area. We
believe that “after class completion” support is essential for these parents as a vital
life-line, providing on-going assistance as they “parent” through the various stages of
their children’s ages and development.
Project Nevaeh has added literacy training and E.S.L. for parents requesting this service, in
conjunction with Literacy Orange. We are in the process of procuring refurbished computers to
support the literacy program
We are also the lead agency, in conjunction with the Orange County Youth Bureau, providing an
LGBTQ youth group.
Project Nevaeh also provides families with resources for community outreach, education and
referrals.
